| 7th PNAA North Central Regional Conference Marriott Hotel, Oak Brook, llinois April 7-8, 2006 |
"Nurses Building and Crossing Bridges And Soaring To Greater Heights
Of Endless Possibilities Toward A Preferred Future." Wow! Yes, this was
the theme of the 7th PNAA North Central Regional Conference held in
Oak Brook Marriott on April 7-8, 2006. This conference was hosted by
PNA Illinois, Inc.
PNA indiana was represented by Diana Darang, Lina DeJesus, Redd
Knotts, Emma Tolentino and Mattie Upano. The conference started with
the usual Welcome Reception / Fellowship Night where the delegates met
new acquaintances, renewed old friendships from PNA Greater Kansas
City, PNA Michigan, PNA Ohio and PNA Illinois and danced the night away.
A whole day educational seminar followed the next day where participants
learned the tools and strategies to enhance a powerful networking and
successful personal development in an organization as well as nurses'
roles in times of disaster.
An elegant gala night culminated the conference, PNAA President, Mila
Velasquez and PNAA Executive Director, Ampy dela Paz, were present to
grace the occasion. PNA Michigan will host the 8th PNAA North Central
Regional Conference in April 2007. We hope to see you all there.
