Once again, PNA-IN launched the fall educational activity titled,
"Irritable Bowel Syndrome" on October 27, 2006 at Ruth Lilly Learning
Center in Indianapolis.
Ms. Margaret O'Grady, ANP, presented the topics in a timely manner.
While the participants were attentive to the seminar, they were also
enjoying the Panera Bread boxed dinner sandwiches, courtesy of
Schlering Plough Pharmaceutical Company. There were 31 attendees
from VA Hospital, Clarian Hospital, PNA-IN and Global Scholarship
Alliance nurses from Community Hospital North.
Each participant was given a certificate of attendance and awarded 1
contact hour approved by the Indiana State Nurses Association.
Thanks to Karleen McGill, RN, MS, CS, FNP, Education Co-Chair, for
all her assistance with the seminar.
PNA-IN members present were: Nitz Delacruz, Pressy Freeman,
Felgrace James, Josie Jimenez, Redd Knotts, Fe Lao, Gert McCray,
Karleen McGill, Vicky Padilla, Florence Pulzifer, Guillie Quintia, Susie
Quintia, Nora Sackett, Helen Tracena, Linda Tolentino, Mattie Upano,
Cora Vizcarra, Eleanore Wilson and Suesta Wiksten. The GSA nurse
scholars were Gabriel Bacungan, Lesley Ann Felicitas, Jo Leah Flores
and Alejandro Loresto.
